Alejandro Brittes Trio
A concert that reconnects you with the ancestral essence of Chamamé.

The Alejandro Brittes Trio presents a concert that blends sophistication and emotion, featuring a repertoire that moves between original compositions and Chamamé classics such as the emblematic “Km 11” and “Merceditas” — true anthems of the Latin American soul.

Joined by André Ely on 7-string guitar and Carlos de Césaro on bass, Alejandro leads the audience on a deep musical journey, marked by expressive intensity and the lightness of melodies that resonate with the heart of South America.

The trio creates a vibrant and sensitive atmosphere, where virtuosity meets human gesture and spontaneous improvisation. The result is a unique experience in which Chamamé becomes more than rhythm — it becomes encounter, landscape, and identity.

CONCERT (L)ESTE

(L)ESTE offers a true historical and sensory journey. It is a crossover between Chamamé in its metaphysical dimension and baroque music, through original compositions by Alejandro Brittes, with arrangements by Brittes and renowned harpsichordist Fernando Cordella, one of the leading baroque conductors of today.

This sonic encounter goes beyond harmonies and melodies: it extends to the very instrumental formation of the concert, combining traditional European baroque instruments — such as viola da gamba, baroque violin, cello, oboe, and harpsichord — with Latin American instruments like accordion, seven-string guitar, double bass, and percussion.

Alejandro’s intention with this concert is to invite the audience to discover a new facet of Chamamé — an artistic gesture that is both a rescue of its roots and a creative projection into its future, weaving together his popular heritage and classical training.
